Linda L. Robbins, age 73, of Montpelier, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2020, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. Linda worked for several years in Human Resources and has been a homemaker and stay at home grandma for the last 18 years.

She was a tax preparer and notary. She enjoyed bowling when she was younger, playing cards, time on the computer and drinking coffee. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Linda loved life and supporting her family in all their endeavors. She will be greatly missed by everyone she touched in life.

Linda was born December 9, 1946, in Wauseon, Ohio, the daughter of Clifford and Marcia (Hilton) Shartzer. She married Doctor “D.A.” Robbins on October 28, 1967 and he survives.

Linda is also survived by her children, David (Dee-Ann Shafer) Robbins, of Swanton, Cheri Ingersoll, of Montpelier, Jerry (Sherry) Robbins, of Angola, Indiana, Barry Robbins and Mindy Robbins, both of Montpelier and Darleen Smith, of Mississippi; 17 grandchildren; many great grandchildren, a brother, Clifford “Ed” (Barb) Shartzer, of Virginia and a sister-in-law, Betty Hartin, of Tennessee. She has several nieces and nephews she loved as much as her own children.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Donna Callaway and sister-in-law, Nancy Hawkins and mother-in-law, Anne.

A celebration of Linda’s life will be held a later date. Her services have been entrusted to Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio.

Memorials are requested to the family for expenses.
