Wauseon Fifth Graders Rule The Roost At The Liberty Center Tournament

LIBERTY CENTER: February 25, 2014 – The Wauseon 5th grade Little Indians Boys Basketball teams played in the Liberty Center Youth Basketball tournament on February 22.  Both teams finished the day with a combined record of 8-0. 

The “White” Team defeated Napoleon, Delta, Holgate and Swanton on their way to the tournament finals, while the “Red” Team defeated Swanton, Liberty Center, Patrick Henry and Napoleon on their way to the tournament finals.  With both Wauseon teams making it to the finals, Wauseon was determined to be Champions of the Liberty Center Tournament. 

Every player put forth a great effort in helping both teams to a successful tournament. Players seeing action included Kayden Widman, Brent Jutze, Jaxon Radabaugh, Brady Thomas, Easton Delgado, Jacob Hageman, Kolton Degroff, Trevor Wensink, Nicolas Barone, Maddux Chamberlain, Lance Rupp, Noah Sauber, Hunter Nofziger, Damon Molina, Jaden Banister, Tyson Britsch and Connar Penrod.
