Beth Renee Mapes, 63, of Swanton Ohio, passed away peacefully at home in her sleep, Saturday morning, July 25, 2020. She was born February 12, 1957 in Toledo, Ohio to Paul Edward Seeman, Sr. and Shirley Jean Bastian. Beth was a 1975 graduate of Swanton High School and worked as an office manager for Strause Refrigeration.
Beth took a lot of pride in making her yard beautiful. She spent her free time doing yard work and meticulously planting flowers.
After spending hours outside, she loved making Sangrias for her family and friends. Beth also looked forward to traveling, especially to Las Vegas and Florida.
She will be greatly missed by her son, Brian (Tasha) Mapes; daughter, Michelle (John Luce II) Tyson, grandchildren, Nicholas, Kaitlin, Mackenzie, Lucas and Gavin; brother, Jeff Seeman; and partner Ronald Price.
Beth was preceded in death by her brother, Paul “Butch” Seeman, Jr. and sister, Sheryl Yunker.
Funeral services were held Thursday, July 30th at 11am at the Weigel Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Milner officiating. Interment will follow at Swanton Cemetery.
