Larry D. Boyer (1940 – 2014)

Larry Boyer WEBLarry D. Boyer, 74, of Montpelier passed away Thursday evening at Evergreen Manor Nursing Home in Montpelier. He was born on April 9, 1940 in Bridgewater Township to John N. and Florence H. (Kohl) Boyer.

Larry was a member of the Cockshutt International Tractor Club and an active member of the FFA. From 1968-2008 he was the owner/operator of Boyer excavating and septic tank cleaning. In the winters he worked for Pressley Logging in Hamilton, Indiana for fifteen years.

He is survived by three daughters, Jaime (Michael) Trausch of Camden, Michigan, Riann (Dickie) Trausch of Montpelier and Jinny Boyer (James Laney) of Camden, Michigan; one son, Jeremy Boyer of Hicksville; nine grandchildren; and one sister, Virginia Joy of Marblehead.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents.
