Fulton County Grand Jury Returns 10 Indictments

On January 11, 2021, the Fulton County Grand Jury considered indictments charging individuals with Fulton County crimes, according to Fulton County Prosecuting Attorney Scott A. Haselman.

DYLAN S. WOQDY, age 37, of Erie, MI, was indicted on one count of Possession of a Fentanyl-Related Compound and one count of Possession of Cocaine. On or about July 12, 2020, he allegedly possessed a fentanyl-related compound and cocaine. 21CR06.

SHAE A. CARTER, age 29, of Swanton, OH, was indicted on one count of Possession of Cocaine. On or about July 24, 2020, she allegedly possessed cocaine. 21CR05.

KALEB A. HEROLD, age 20, of Napoleon, OH, was indicted on one count of Failure to Appear on Personal Recognizance Bond. On or about December 29, 2020, he allegedly failed to appear for his pre-trlal conference on December 29, 2020 in the Fulton County Common Pleas Court, as required by the terms of his personal recognizance bond. 21CR02.


DAVID P. TRESSLER, III, age 38, of Delta, OH, was indicted on one count of Aggravated Burglary and one count of Domestic Violence. On or about January 3, 2021, he allegedly trespassed in an occupied structure and inflicted or attempted to inflict physical harm on another person. 21CR04.

DEVIN M. LEITNER, age 22, of Defiance, OH, was indicted on one count of Aggravated Possession of Drugs. On or about May 31, 2020, he allegedly possessed Clonazolam. 21CR10.

MICHAEL J. KOWALIS, age 47, of Cecil, OH, was indicted on one count of Inducing Panic, and two counts of Falsification. On or about July 10, 2020 to August 31, 2020, he allegedly caused serious public inconvenience or alarm and purposely mislead public officials in performing their official duties by knowingly initiating a false report. 21CR09


MICHAEL S. TURNER, age 51, of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, was indicted on two counts of Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated, one count of Resisting Arrest, one count of Assault, and one count of Tampering With Evidence. On or about January 6th, 2021, he allegedly operated a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. He also allegedly resisted arrest and allegedly caused physical harm to a law enforcement officer while in the performance of his official duties. Lastly, he allegedly tampered with evidence in an official proceeding or investigation. 21CR03

RHODA MILLER, age 53, of Wauseon, OH, was indicted on one count of Forgery and one count of Theft. On or about October 21st, 2020 to October 23rd, 2020, she allegedly stole cash and allegedly uttered a forged check. 21CR08.

ERIC J. MAKULA, age 28, of Delta OH, was indicted on one count of Failure to Appear on Personal Recognizance Bond. On or about December 17, 2020, he allegedly failed to appear for his pre-trial conference in the Fulton County Common Pleas Court, as required by the terms of his bond. 21CR01.

ANTHONY D. ESPINOSA, age 22, Toledo, OH, was indicted on one count of Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated, one count of Improperly Handling Firearms in a Motor Vehicle, and one count of Possession of Cocaine. On or about January 8th, 2021, he allegedly transported a loaded gun in a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, and allegedly possessed cocaine. 21CR07.


It should be noted that an indictment is merely an accusation and that all criminal defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
