King’s Cross’s Bible Quiz Team called “Indubitably” (without doubt) again had the highest average score at a meet, this time hosted at North Clinton Church in Wauseon on Sunday, March 14.

Front, from left, “Indubitably,” with three wins and a 131.7 average, has team members: Elijah Delgado, Brayden Tilley, Stephen Delgado, Gradyn Monachino, and William Nofziger. Central’s “Walking Trees” quizzed both “Indubitably” and “the 50s” and still had the second highest average of 123.8 and won three out of four matches.

Second Row: Raegan Rutledge, Tessa Nafziger, Kate Nofziger, future quizzer Molly Rutledge. Not pictured: Lucia Rodriguez and Aaron Miller.

With 120 was “The Underdogs” from Eastland Baptist of Bryan. Third row: Grace Sheldon, Lydia Sheldon, Rosemary McAfee, Faith Sheldon, and Trinity Snider. “Sons of Thunder,” an all-middle school King’s Cross team, went 3-1 and averaged 112.5, fourth row: Elijah Grunden, Preston Nofziger, Joshua Reeb, and Malaki Neilson.

Not pictured: Thomas Hudson. Also averaging 112.5 was King’s Cross’s “The 50s, back row: Nathan Rettig, Chris Foor, Adaira May, Lydia Mosier and Madie Tilley.

To celebrate Team Spirit week, Quiz teams acted out skits or dressed appropriately to highlight their team names; such as “The 50s” team with their girls in colorful dresses and their boys in leather jackets, t-shirts, jeans, and sunglasses.
