September 6th-WEST UNITY: The Junior Varsity Lady Cadets took on both Bryan and Tinora at their tri-match on Saturday.
Hilltop took on Bryan first, and the exciting match went to three sets. In the first game, the Cadets won a hard fought set, 25-19. The second set belonged to the Golden Bears, 25-17. The decisive game 3 was a struggle between the two teams, but it was the girls of Hilltop who came out on top, 25-21.
The match with Tinora went quite differently, though. In Game 1, the Lady Rams overpowered the Cadets, 25-11. The second set was Tinora’s to control as well, as the Lady Cadets fell 13-25.
