Billie S. Baker, age 80, of Delta, passed away Thursday evening June 16, 2022 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Maumee.

She was born in Wayland, Kentucky on September 6, 1941 to Hy Caudill and Martha (Hall) Caudill. After High School she met Lowell Baker while serving as a waitress.

It was love at first sight and the two married six weeks later in Marion, Ohio on August 23, 1960. Billie was a member of the Swanton Seventh Day Adventist Church.

A homemaker throughout her life, she enjoyed reading, cooking, baking and gardening; but nothing was more important to her than family, especially her grandchildren.

Along with her loving husband, Lowell Baker of 61 years, Billie is survived by her three children, Sean Baker, Brett (Andrea) Baker and Sheena (Philip) Howard; grandchildren, Logan, Skyler, Lori-Rae, Megan, Amanda, Michelle, Caden and Blakely Baker and brother, Willard (Glenna) Caudill.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

In keeping with family wishes, there will be no visitation and services will be private for the family.

Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, P.O Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718 in Billie’s memory.

Arrangements were entrusted to Barnes Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 5825 St. Hwy 109, Delta.

Online condolences may be sent to the family through our website at www.barnesfuneralchapel.com.
