Norma C. Seevers, age 90, of Hicksville, Ohio, passed away at 2:50 P.M. on Thursday, July 7, 2022, at Community Memorial Hospital in Hicksville after a brief illness.
Mrs. Seevers attended Edgerton High School and was a devoted farm wife, working on the family farm near Hicksville.
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the Rosary Altar Society. Norma enjoyed working and cleaned offices with her daughter, Kathie, for fifteen years, retiring in 2019.
Norma D. Seevers was born on June 7, 1932, in Blakeslee, Ohio, the daughter of Earl and Hazel (Jones) Blinzler.
She married Dean D. Seevers on October 14,1950, in Edgerton, Ohio, and he preceded her in death on January 1, 2002.
Survivors include two sons, Larry (Sherri) Seevers, of Defiance, Ohio, and Terry (Deb) Seevers, of Montpelier, Ohio; one daughter, Kathie (Doug) Busch, of Bryan; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Richard (Sharon) Blinzler, of Edgerton; and four sisters, Marlene Wofrum, of Edgerton, Judith Reineck, in Arkansas, Janet (Marvin) Henricks, of Montpelier, Ohio, and Janice Wygant, of Bryan.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters, Carolyn Sampson and Marcia Sabins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 11, 2022, from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 114 East Hull Street, Edgerton. Services will follow at 1:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, with Reverend Daniel Borgelt officiating. Interment in Maple Grove Cemetery, Edgerton, will be private.
Memorials are requested to St. Mary Catholic School in Edgerton.
