Ralph E. Garrison, age 71, of Lima, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2022 at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
He was born on December 21, 1950 to Robert and Freda (Estepp) Garrison in Tiffin, Ohio.
Ralph retired from Bath Local School District after 30 years of service in the maintenance department.
In his spare time, he loved carving small wood figurines, fishing, golf, computer card games, rooting for The Ohio State Buckeye’s football team and Los Angeles Lakers.
Above everything Ralph was a simple man at heart who enjoyed being at home, providing for his family and he loved his wife dearly, Hortencia.
Ralph leaves behind his devoted wife, Hortencia (Arredondo) Garrison; sons, Lupe Perez (Jessica Flores) and Mark (Michelle) Garrison; grandchildren, Thalia Perez, Antonio Perez and Alex Garrison; sister, Debra Albright and his spoiled feline friend, Taya.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Daniel Garrison and Sue Mowery.
The family will receive guests from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 11, 2022 at Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home, 219 S. Fulton St., Wauseon, Ohio 43567. Ralph’s Funeral Service will begin in the funeral home on Friday at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in St. Caspar Cemetery.
