(February 13th, 2015) – EVERGREEN: From start to finish, the Indians of Wauseon completely and totally dominated the hometown Vikings of Evergreen in a North Western Ohio Athletic League match-up on Friday, February 13. By the time the final buzzer sounded, Wauseon had laid claim to a 41-11 road victory.
The first quarter was a low scoring affair on both ends of the court. The Indian boys assumed an early 6-2 lead. They would never look back.
In an impressive all-around display, the second period saw Wauseon outscore the Viking boys 15-3. This gave them a 21-5 advantage heading into the locker room. When they came back onto the court, the Indians picked up right where they left off, claiming the third quarter by an 8-2 margin. Wauseon would go to close out the contest strong, ending it on a 13-4 run throughout the fourth quarter.
Leading the scoring for the Indians was Austin Bachman, who offered up 10 points to the victory effort. Teammate Austin Rotroff contributed 9 points in the win as well. Brendan Wilson added 8 points.
