LYONS VILLAGE COUNCIL: Grant Procurement Discussed For Water Tower Project

The Lyons Village Council held their meeting on Monday, May 1st at 7:00 p.m. During the meeting council discussed the following items.

The company Aqualine is scheduled to come out on May 11th. Salt is currently being ordered from ODOT to prepare for the next winter season.

A mower and truck that have been ordered are scheduled to be in within the next few weeks.

Radar signs have been put up around the village and they are working. A ribbon cutting took place at the new restaurant in town called BeeBz.

Village staff attended the Fulton County Economic Development Commission meeting with it being stated the meeting went well.

Cargo storage containers will be shipping in soon and the BWC audit went well. More cameras are being looked at for around the village, with a quote being asked for.

Drawings are currently being waited on from the Engineers office for the North Adrian properties and CT Consultants is still being worked with in regard to grant funds/funding for the new water tower.

With no other items left to discuss, council moved to adjourn for the evening.
