Brenda Irene Wolfinger, age 75, of Wauseon, and formerly of Elkhart, Indiana, passed away in her home on October 6, 2023. Prior to her retirement she had done clerical work for Schmidt Brothers Greenhouse.
Brenda was born in Three Rivers, Michigan on April 1, 1948, the daughter of Robert and Evelyn (Sawyer) Wolfinger.
Brenda loved researching genealogy, scrapbooking, spending time with her friends at the Senior Center, and she loved her dog, Brandi Rose. She was also the secretary for the annual Wolfinger Reunion.
Surviving is one brother, Gerald (Mary) Wolfinger of Osceola, Indiana; nephews, Zachary Wolfinger, Stephen Wolfinger; and nieces, Celeste Wolfinger and Shaunte Schudel. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, David Wolfinger.
Visitation for Brenda will be held from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. on Friday, October 13, 2023, at the Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon. A funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, also in the funeral home, with Pastor Rex Stump, officiating. Interment services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 16, 2023 at the Syracuse Cemetery in Syracuse Indiana. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.grisierfh.com.
