Second place belonged to Justin Musser, who threw a 38’1” toss for the Locomotives. Edon’s Kenny Ordway took third place in the event, throwing for 36’10.5”. The Locos also secured fourth place through the performance of Austin Cook, who came just short of meeting Ordway with a 36’9” effort. Ben Garcia gave the Cadets a decent showing with a toss of 34’5.5” as well.

Ordway would, however, finish first in the discus, tossing the saucer 111′ to do so. Stryker’s Israel Aguilar took down second place with a throw of 106’5”. Max Hulbert, of Montpelier, came close to that mark, earning third place at 104’7”.

In the high jump, the Locomotives had a first place finisher in Alex Matzinger, a senior who cleared a height of 5’6”. Logan Bloir, of Edon, tied for second place with Montpelier’s Evan Friend, as both competitors completed a 5’4” jump.

Montpelier dominated the long jump, as Dylan Snyder, Hunter Shaull, and Evan Friend locked down the top three places with distances of 21’11.75”, 18’11.5”, and 17’11.5” respectively. Kaleb Faler, of North Central had a strong showing as well, clearing 15’10.5”, while teammate Nick Henry jumped for 14’9.75”. Hilltop’s Scott Goodnight managed a leap of 14′ even.
