Sonya S. Toms, age 73, of Edgerton, Ohio, passed away, Sunday, December 17, 2023 at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Sonya was a house cleaner and has worked in Environmental Services at Community Hospitals of Williams County for several years.
She was a member of the Bryan Eagles Aerie #2233 , enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles, collecting dolphins and spending time with her family and friends.
Sonya was born on March 6, 1950, in Hicksville, Ohio the daughter of Glen A. and Grace M. (Belman) Crawford, Sr. She was a graduate of Fairview High School.
Sonya is survived by her son, John Toms, of Bryan; daughter, Barb (Mark) Poucher, of Sherwood; grandsons, Damian Toms and Coleton Toms, both of Ney and Andrew Poucher, of Edgerton and great grandson, Arthur Poucher.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Paul Bodell, Glen Crawford, Jr. and Donald Crawford and sister, Helen Johnston-Bear.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan with Pastor Rick Stiver officiating. Burial will follow at Fountain Grove Cemetery in Bryan. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M., prior to the service.
