Jacquelyn McAdams (1941 – 2024)

Jacquelyn Ann McAdams, age 82, of Fayette, died Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Ayden Healthcare of Wauseon. She was born November 15, 1941, in Hudson, MI, the daughter of Edward Jack and Ruth Lucille (Waite) Fox. Raised in Morenci, she was a 1960 graduate of Morenci Area Schools.

Jackie was a longtime clerk at Meijer in Sylvania until her retirement in November of 2012. She enjoyed spending time tending to her garden and watching sports. In later years, nothing brought her more joy than being in the company of her grandchildren.

Surviving are her three sons, Tracy (Cindy) Mitchell of Pickerington, OH, Troy (Kelly) Mitchell of New Lenox, IL, and Todd (Amy) Mitchell of Fayette; a sister, Renee (John) Sutherland of Indianapolis, IN; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two husbands, Orvale Leininger and Rich McAdams.


Cremation will take place and no public services will be held. You may send condolences to the family at www.eaglemarryfuneralhome.com  Arrangements are under the direction of Eagle-Marry Funeral Home, Fayette.
