Stephen Buehrer, 59, of Alvordton, Ohio, passed away Monday, May 6, 2024, at Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice Center, Defiance, Ohio.
Stephen was born May 13, 1964, in Wauseon, Ohio, son of the late James L. and Sharon (Mull) Buehrer. He was a graduate of North Central High School.
Stephen was a passionate self-employed farmer. He took pride in his work and loved spending time out in the fields.
When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed walking in the woods. He will be missed by many cousins, neighbors, and close friends. Stephen was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Michael J. Buehrer.
Visitation for Stephen will be held Monday, May 13, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 202 North Liberty Street, West Unity. Private Committal services will take place at West Franklin Cemetery. A memorial service celebrating Stephen’s life will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at Stryker United Brethren Church, 104 E. Short Street, Stryker, Ohio with Pastor Nick Woodall officiating.
