Regina “Jeanie” Bomar (1948 – 2024)

Regina “Jeanie” Ann Bomar, age 76, of Wauseon, passed away with her family by her side at the Fulton County Health Center on July 24, 2024.

She was born to the late Charles and Nellie (Ross) Sharp in Sylvania, Ohio on March 30, 1948.

Regina would meet the love of her life Arthur M. Bomar Jr, and they would marry on her birthday, March 30, 1972 and spend 37 years together until his passing on March 28, 2009. Jeanie had a passion for horses, including her talent for training, showing and breeding.

She enjoyed visiting local restaurants with her coffee groups and catching up on the day’s current events.

Jeanie also loved gardening and tending to her flowers. She was a two-time cancer survivor and family was the center of her life; spending time with her children, siblings and grandchildren.

Left to cherish Jeanie are daughter, Marla (Darrell) Shulters of Camden. MI; grandchildren, Eugene Stimson, Dustin, Christopher and Nicholas Bomar; siblings, Charles (Nancy) Sharp, George (Cheryl) Sharp, Martin (Tammy) Sharp, Fred Sharp, Debbie (Tom) Wolff, Jeri (Mark) Moon, Rebecca Clark and Charlene (Bob) Kahl; along with her longtime canine companion, “Peanut”.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Arthur; son, Christoper; daughter, Mary Stimson; daughter-in-law, Tamara Bomar; siblings, Yolanda (Jeff) Mikolajek, Vickie Carrick, Anita Chadwick, Nancy Weaver, Mike Sharp and Neoma Hudson.

Per her wishes there will be no public services. Private interment will be at Shiloh Cemetery in Delta. Arrangements were entrusted to Barnes Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 5825 St. Rt. 109 in Delta.
