Deborah “Deb” Sauder (1945 – 2024)

Deborah “Deb” Sue (Dilts) Sauder, age 78, of Archbold, passed away on August 27, 2024, at Fairlawn Haven in Archbold, surrounded by her family.

Prior to retirement, Deb worked at Aro Corporation and Sauder Woodworking.

Deb was born on December 15, 1945, in Wauseon, to the late Robert R. and Margaret “Midge (Stuller) Dilts. She was a Stryker High School graduate. On October 9, 1976, she married the love of her life, Gene J Sauder, and he survives.

Deb loved to go to garage sales, cook, and adult coloring books. She loved her dog, Emily. Above all else, Deb loved and cared for her family.

Surviving Deb is her husband, Gene; son, Randy (Beth) Sauder of Stryker; son, Chris (Peg) Sauder of Napoleon; daughter, Julie Riggins of Omaha, KS; and daughter, Andrea (Russ) Vosen of Des Moines, IA. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Linda Reeves of Montpelier; and nephew, Christopher Reeves of Defiance. She was preceded in death by her parents and son-in-law, Joe Riggins.

Visitation for Deb will take place on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, from 4pm to 7pm at the Bridging The Gap Church in Stryker. A celebration of life will take place on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at 11am, with Pastor Ryan Carter and Pastor Scott Carlin officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Bridging The Gap Church – Stryker or the Christ Community Church – Ridgeville.
