Jody Ann Allen, age 59, of Montpelier, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at the Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice Center near Defiance.
Jody was a nurse and had worked at CHWC Bryan Hospital, Evergreen Manor, was a school nurse in Montpelier and later audited charts. She enjoyed traveling, photography, sewing and watching game shows.
Jody was born on May 27, 1965 in Montpelier, Ohio, the daughter of John J. and Jolene (Baltosser) McGill. She married William G. Allen on August 7, 2004 in Bolton, Ontario, Canada, and he survives.
Jody is also survived by her son, Colin (Teryann) Sawyer-Sito, of Jacksonville, FL; daughter, Emily Sito, of Montpelier; grandchildren, Mason Sito and Leon Crawford; stepmother, Judy McGill, of Bryan; mother and stepfather, Jolene (Barry) Brown, of Montpelier; brothers, John (Cheryl) McGill and Jeff McGill, both of Montpelier and Joe (Donna Meyer) McGill, of Edgerton and her beloved dog, Daisy Mae. She was preceded in death by her father, John McGill and sister, Jonda Engle.
Visitation for Jody will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 from 12:00-3:00 pm at Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio. Funeral services will be held immediately following with Joe Paonessa officiating.
