St. Mary School (Edgerton) Students Celebrate All Saints’ Day

November 8, 2024No Comments2 Mins Read

(PRESS RELEASE) – This All Saints’ Day, students at St. Mary School took part in a joyful celebration by dressing as their favorite saints, bringing history, faith, and creativity to life.

The event was a meaningful way to honor the men and women who have been recognized for their holiness and contributions to the Church.

From St. Francis of Assisi to St. Therese of Lisieux, the students showcased a wide array of saints, each embodying the virtues of kindness, courage, and devotion.

All Saints’ Day, celebrated on November 1st, is a time for Catholics to remember and give thanks for the lives of all saints—known and unknown—who have exemplified a life of holiness.

The students’ participation in this tradition not only deepened their understanding of these inspiring figures but also provided an opportunity for them to reflect on how they can strive to live virtuous lives in their own communities.

The colorful costumes and lively spirit of the day were a reminder of the importance of saints in the Catholic faith, serving as role models and intercessors for believers.

As the students paraded through the halls, it was clear that All Saints’ Day is not just a celebration of the past, but a call to live out the holiness that the saints have modeled for all generations.
