Robert Appling Repass Jr., age 80, of Wauseon, Ohio, passed away in the early Sunday morning of December 8, 2024, at his home with his family by his side.
He was born to the late Robert A. and Margaret J. (Collins) Repass in Elkton, Maryland on November 22, 1944.
Robert attended Waite High School and soon after would serve his country in the United States Navy from 1962-1964. On February 17, 1971, he married Kathlyn Ann Wrede and together shared 53 loving years.
From this marriage they were blessed with one daughter, Dawn and one son, Troy. Robert was an over-the-road truck driver for many years, driving for Ruan Transportation for 19 years before retiring.
He was a member of the Delta American Legion and enjoyed several hobbies, including visiting car shows and riding his motorcycle, as he was very much a motorcycle enthusiast. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Carol “Pug” Mathers and Linda Kay Lupien.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Kathlyn; daughter, Dawn (Daniel Jones) Repass of Delta, son, Troy Repass of Toledo; grandchildren, Zachery (Cynthia) Bolich; great grandchildren, Autumn Jade, Elly Mae and Layne Kenneth Bolich.
In honoring Robert’s wishes, there will be no public services. Arrangements and cremation are entrusted to Barnes Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 5825 St Hwy 109 in Delta.
