Brenda Bundy (1954 – 2024)

Brenda L. Bundy, age 70, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family following a courageous battle with cancer.

Brenda was a home health aide for many years and had worked as a custodian at the Leesburg Post Office.

She was a member of the Bryan Eagles and was always a happy soul. She enjoyed crocheting, making baby blankets, flower gardening, traveling, fishing, singing and dancing, but most of all time with her grandchildren.


Brenda was born on August 23, 1954, in Bryan, Ohio, the daughter of Stanley K. and Evelyn E. (Paxton) Stemen. She was a 1972 graduate of Bryan High School.

Brenda married Roy A. Trowbridge, Jr. In Defiance on November 28, 1975 and he preceded her in death. Brenda later married Edwin H. Bundy on February 10, 1996 in Leesburg, Ohio and he preceded her in death on January 31, 2011.

Brenda is survived by her daughter, Amanda Holt, of Bryan; son, Andrew (Hillary) Trowbridge, of Wisconsin; her grandchildren, Angelina, Olivia, Ella, Oren and Tucker; her brothers, Alan (Alice) Stemen, of Niles, MI, Marvin (Julie Restainer) Stemen, of Bryan, David (Susan) Stemen, of Palos Park, IL; sisters, Karen (Gary) Akers and Chris (Bill) Cheesbro, both of Bryan and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Roy A. Trowbridge, Jr. and Edwin H. Bundy and a grandchild.


Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2024 from 4:00-6:00 P.M. at Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Funeral services will be held immediately following with Hospice Chaplain Justin Murphy officiating. She will be laid to rest at Fountain Grove Cemetery in a private interment.
