Alberta L ArmstrongAlberta L. Armstrong, age 92, of rural Wauseon, passed away Sunday morning, September 6, 2015, at Fulton Manor in Wauseon.

Alberta was born in New Madrid, MO on July 7, 1923, the youngest child of George Albert and Allie Mae (Ferrenburg) Eby. She married Ellis J. Armstrong in 1941, and he preceded her in death in 1997.

She was a faithful member of the West Fulton Dunkard Brethren Church, rural Wauseon, and a lifelong resident of Fulton County, Ohio. She is survived by two daughters, Nancy (Gary) Rathbun and Lola (Joe) Flory, three granddaughters, Kate (Andrew) Fruth, Karen (Bill) Buckenmeyer and Kristy Adams; four very special great-grandsons, Wyatt, Westin and Wade Fruth and Isaac Buhrer; one sister, Vera Armstrong, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Also surviving are special quilting buddies, Muriel Pennington, Janice Riegsecker and Gidget Ramsey. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Maude Butts, Verna Stoltz, Jeanette Poorman, Sylvia Viers and Pauletta Johnson; two brothers, Clay and Ted Eby; and special quilting buddie, Marlene Burkett.

Visitation for Alberta will be from 2:00 P.M. Until 8:00 P.M. On Thursday, September 10, 2015 at the West Fulton Dunkard Brethren Church, where the funeral service will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday, with Brother, Brant Jamison, officiating. Interment will follow in the Smith Cemetery, rural Pettisville.

The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the church. Online condolences may be offered to the family atwww.grisierfh.com. Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon has been entrusted with arrangements.
