Rory Dean Browning, age 54, of Fremont, Indiana and formerly of Atlantic Beach, North Carolina, passed away September 11, 2015, at Cameron Memorial Hospital of Angola, Indiana. He was born October 12, 1960 in Zanesville, Ohio. He attended school in Montpelier, Ohio.
He was a certified landscaper and the owner of All Natural Surroundings, and worked in North Carolina and Angola, Indiana. Rory enjoyed nature, being outdoors, landscaping, fishing, gardening, and spending time with his family. He traveled the country enjoying the sites and nature, he had a contagious personality, and a beautiful smile, and his nieces and nephews were like his own children to him.
Survivors include his mother, Laura McLory of Angola, Indiana, his two sisters, Debi and Tim Swager of Fremont, Indiana, and Jeanette and Frank Hull of Montpelier, Ohio, two half-sisters, Francis Hall of West Virginia and Gail Browning of Georgia, two half-brothers, Toby Browning of Tampa, Florida, and Jerry Browning of Ashland, Kentucky, his nieces and nephews, Amber (Drew) Kuespert of Fremont, Indiana, Ashley (Marty) Thorp of Swanton, Ohio, Kylie (Tom) Lowry of Fremont, Indiana, Heather (Jacob) Swager of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, and Tim Swager, II of Washington, DC, and two great-nieces and five great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jay Browning in 2015, and a brother, Timothy Todd Browning, in 1999.
A private family visitation was held on Saturday, September 12, 2015. Following his wishes cremation will take place. A Celebration of Rory’s Life will be held from 2-4 pm Saturday, September 19, 2015 at the home of Debi and Tim Swager, 6959 North Ray Road, Fremont, Indiana.
