The Lyons Farmers Market is back with fresh energy, new vendors, and plenty of activities for all ages. Organizers say the event continues to grow year over year, with last month’s market drawing more than 280 visitors.
This month brings three brand new vendors to the lineup, joining other returning favorites.
In total, 20 vendor spots were filled for this month, including the popular Smash Dogs and Snow Cones food truck. A live DJ was also on site to provide entertainment throughout the evening.
To help engage younger attendees, the market offered a book giveaway for children 12 and under as part of the summer reading program.
Each month will feature something special for kids. Previous events included balloon art, and future plans call for face painting, a scavenger hunt, and a trick-or-treat event in October.
With more advertising, vendor spotlights, and community support, the market continues to build momentum. Organizers also offered T-shirts and totes featuring the market’s logo.
As the season continues, the focus remains on making the market a welcoming place for families, neighbors, and vendors alike.
