Pettisville 43, Hilltop 26

WEST UNITY – Pettisville jumped out to a 24-9 halftime lead as the Blackbirds marched past Hilltop, 43-26, in non-conference action.

Becca Strauss led a balanced scoring attack for Pettisville (1-2) tallying 14 points. Ashalyn Rice contributed 12 points, and Addison Davis added 11 points.

Pettisville 14/42 for 33% from the floor and 9/15 for 60% from the line.

Sophia Crossgrove bucketed eight points to lead Hilltop (0-2) and Molly Dickinson added seven points. The Cadets were 10/27 for 37% from the floor and 3/12 for 25% from the stripe.

PETTISVILLE (43) – Rice 12; Strauss 14; Miller 6; Davis 11; Totals: 8-6-9 – 43
HILLTOP (26) – Rodriguez 3; Dickinson 7; Routt 6; Connolly 2; Crossgrove 8; Totals: 7-3-3 – 26
