Helen June James, age 77, of Toledo, passed away Monday, October 19, 2015 at her residence. She was born in Rockwood, Tennessee on March 1, 1938 to the late Richard and Willys Pearl (Monday) Bare.

Helen was a graduate of DeVilbiss High School in Toledo. She worked as an owner of All American Car Rental also as a lunch aide for Toledo Public Schools. When not working she was a homemaker for her husband and sons.

Along with her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Ray James, Sr., and her brother, James C. Bare.

She is survived by her sons; Jimmy (Kathy) James Jr. of Toledo and Jeffery (Dawn) James of Brunswick; sisters, Linda (Larry) Bayes and Shirley (Robert) Harris, both of Toledo; five grandchildren, Joshua and Jason James, Angela (Larry) Vacek, Sherry (Nathan) Luke and Kelsie James.


There will be no public services. Interment will be private for the family at Winameg Cemetery near Delta. Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St Hwy 109 in Delta, Ohio has been entrusted with funeral arrangements. Online condolences may be sent to the family through our website atwww.barnesfuneralchapel.com.
