SWANTON (February 7, 2026) – Bryan’s boys and girls bowling squads got out the broom, sweeping both titles in the Northwest Ohio Athletic League Bowling Championships held at the Swanton Sports Center.

It was a close finish in the boys division as Bryan claimed its second consecutive crown with a score of 3,527, just edging out runner-up Liberty Center by 13 pins (3,514) and third place finisher Wauseon by 15 pins (3,512). It also marked the seventh time in school history Bryan has claimed the NWOAL hardware.
Evergreen was fourth (3,477), Patrick Henry was fifth (3,283), Swanton was sixth (2,570), and Delta was seventh (2,373).
Combined with the regular season dual match records, Bryan, Liberty Center, and Wauseon all finished with 15 points each, followed by Patrick Henry (11), Evergreen (9), Swanton (3), and Delta (2).
Bryan’s Noah Mills captured top individual honors in the boys division. Mills rolled a 682 series (220-204-258).
Joining Mills on the all-league first team were Wesley Wilhelm of Liberty Center (180-222-257-659), Thomas Baker of Evergreen (190-199-199-588), Evan Stevens of Wauseon (225-188-171-564), Stone Roth of Liberty Center (206-146-198-550), Xavier Robinette of Evergreen (213-149-187-549), and Noah Geren of Bryan (199-166-183-548).
Second team all-league honors went to Otto Proxmire of Bryan (192-151-203-546), Levi Hoops of Patrick Henry (151-201-173-528), Jakob Yocum of Wauseon (163-175-190-528), Derrek Munding of Patrick Henry (161-158-177-526), Isaak Hays of Wauseon (158-192-177-518), Luca Miracola of Delta (142-193-177-517), and Maddox Oyer of Liberty Center (135-165-205-505).
In the girls division, Bryan achieved a three-peat in winning its third straight NWOAL title and eleventh in program history with a score of 3,414.
Wauseon was runner-up with 3,227, followed by Liberty Center (3,074), Patrick Henry (2,879), Evergreen (2,678), Delta (2,653), and Swanton (2,485).
Combined with the dual match standings, Bryan tallied 18 points followed by Wauseon (15), Liberty Center (13), Patrick Henry (11), Evergreen (7), Delta (3), and Swanton (2).

Zoey Gillett of Bryan claimed top individual honors as the junior standout rolled an impressive 699 series including games of 234, 268, and 197.
Also named to the all-league first team were Kymberlee Yocum of Wauseon (182-190-226-598), Ruth Shelt of Wauseon (148-191-257-576), Annaliese Keene of Liberty Center (163-189-210-562), Emma Leonard of Swanton (203-175-160-538), Lana Breece of Patrick Henry (155-163-193-511), and Mya Federspiel of Bryan (127-186-195-508).
Second team all-league honors went to Meadow Goebel of Bryan (151-151-155-488), Cheyenne Miller of Liberty Center (183-133-159-475), Polly Sleesman of Bryan (151-190-128-469), Kenasyn Meyer of Liberty Center (151-145-151-447), Annabella Meyers of Wauseon (137-161-148-446), Joanna Brown of Bryan (141-138-166-445), and Allison Leininger of Bryan (133-160-136-429).
