Audrey (Reed) Dominique, age 98, of Archbold, Ohio, passed away March 3, 2026.
Audrey and her husband, Robert “Ickey,” started Ickey’s Restaurant in Archbold, operating the restaurant from 1967 to 1978, and continuing to cook at the restaurant throughout her entire life.
Audrey was born June 6, 1927, in Wauseon, to the late Carl and Muriel (Carver) Reed.
On July 26, 1946, she married Robert “Ickey” Dominique, who preceded her in death in 1993. Audrey was an active member at St. Peter Catholic Church, serving on the altar society. She also was a member of the Archbold American Legion Auxiliary.
Surviving Audrey are her son, Joe (Deb); son, Jim “Bummer” (Susan); daughter, Jill; son, Jack (Kim); daughter, Jane; daughter-in-law, Julie; and daughter-in-law, Marn. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, seven grandchildren-in-law, and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her children, Jake, Jeff, and Jean.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 9 to 11 a.m. in St. Peter Catholic Church, Archbold. Her funeral Mass will begin at 11 a.m. in St. Peter Catholic Church, with Rev. William Pifher officiating. Interment will follow in St. Peter Cemetery in Archbold.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to St. Peter Catholic Church, CHP Inpatient Hospice, or Fairlawn Haven.
