Archbold, Ohio — Sauder Village is honored to announce its selection as an official host venue for Ohio Goes to the Movies, a signature event of America 250-Ohio.
The venue will present its Ohio Goes to the Movies event on Friday, April 3, 2026, at 6 p.m. at the 1920s Theatre, joining communities in all 88 counties in celebrating Ohio’s impact on film through October 2026.
“We’re proud to host Fulton County’s first Ohio Goes to the Movies event as our nation celebrates its 250th birthday and Sauder Village celebrates our 50th,” said Sheri Friesner, Director of Museum Operations.
“We can’t wait to bring our community together for this statewide celebration of storytelling, creativity, and Ohio’s film heritage.”
Sauder Village will screen “The Sound of Music,” featuring Ohio’s own Eleanor Parker as the Baroness. In addition to the film, there will be pre-show snacks, a photo booth, trivia, prizes and more.
