She loved her family, gardening and was known for her cooking and baking. Catherine loved her community and her church, which she displayed in her many acts of kindness to others. She loved being a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Catherine is survived by her two sons, Daniel Cartledge of Guangzhou, China and Christopher (Cindy) Cartledge of Liberty Center; grandchildren, Kathryn (David) Becksvoort, Thomas Cartledge and Daniel (Jennifer) Cartledge; great-grandchildren, Jack Becksvoort, Clara Jean Becksvoort, Louise Becksvoort, Cecelia Becksvoort and Jason Cartledge; brother, David (Pattie) Blair of Suffolk, Virginia and sister, Ossie Pearl Harrell of Norfolk, Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, William, George, Joseph, Thomas Blair III, Corneus, James and Robert Blair; and sisters, Virginia Cox, Juanita Stine and Mary Blair.

In honoring Catherine’s wishes, a private service for Catherine will be held at Barnes Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 5825 St. Hwy. 109 in Delta. Interment will follow at Young Cemetery in Liberty Center alongside her husband Bill, who passed away on April 7, 2020.

Those wishing a show of sympathy are asked to consider contributions to the Shiloh Christian Union Church, 2100 Co Rd D, Delta, Ohio 43515, in her memory.
