CHAPTER HONORED … State Representative Jim Hoops (R-Napoleon) recently recognized the Millcreek West Unity FFA Chapter with a commendation, celebrating the 90th anniversary of the chapter. “I was thrilled to celebrate this important milestone for all FFA students and their families of West Unity Local Schools,” said Rep. Hoops. “These students are our future in the community, and the work they do for agriculture remains crucial now more than ever throughout my district and the state.” Rep. Hoops attended the anniversary event held at Hilltop High School. The FFA is a national organization dedicated to preparing students for leadership and careers in agriculture. Agriculture is Ohio’s number one industry, with over 76,000 farms across the state.
