Hilltop High School Announces 2016 Science Fair Award Winners

HS Science Fair Sumner AwardThe 2016 Hilltop High School Science Fair Award Winners are:
HS High Excellents – (33-35) – eligible for Regional Competition (red medallion) – (5) Sponsored by Dr. Thomas J. Taylor: Ariana Brown, Malorie Heer, Allie Schmitt, Mikayla Eberly, Sage Repp.

HS Superiors – (36-40) eligible for Regional and District Competition (blue medallion) – (17) Medallions sponsored by the Three Arts Club: Danny Ackley, Ethan Dunson, Victoria Masters, Layni Allport, Cierra Grant, Veronica Roth, Colleen Bell, Kamry Gray, Abby Schaper, Leah Carothers, Shelby Kuney, Baylee Schmitt, Marlee Carroll, Macey Kunkle, Marisa Yates, Karissa Crisenbery, Tim Maneval.

High School Category Awards (1st – $15, 2nd – $10) and plaque:

Behavioral and Social Science (11 projects)

Medicine and Health (8 projects)
Sponsored by: Dr. and Mrs. Thomas Cromwell, PJ&T Transportation, Harold and Teresa Jones Memorial, and the Three Arts Club: 1st: Team of Danny Ackley and Cierra Grant. 2nd: Team of Layni Alport and Macey Kunkle.

Sumner Award for the top High School Project ($25): Sponsored by:  Three Arts Club: Project Title: The Effect of Cell Phone Radiation and Ways to Minimize Exposure, Name: Colleen Bell.
