Debbie E. Kemarly (1955-2016)

debbie kemarly finalDebbie E. Kemarly, 60, of Pioneer, Ohio passed away Monday evening at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers in Bryan.  She was born on August 21, 1955 in Bluffton, Indiana to Jack Allen and Barbara J. (Slusher) Gentis.  In 1973 Debbie graduated from Southern Wells High School in Poneto, Indiana.  On July 21, 2007 she married Neil F. Kemarly and he survives.

As a senior in high school Debbie won the National OEA typing competition.  From that point forward, she was a medical transcriptionist for many hospitals throughout the country from the comfort of her own home.  Debbie enjoyed making and selling her own jewelry, and traveling to art shows throughout the Midwest including, Chicago, Ann Arbor, Dayton, Cleveland and Fort Wayne.  She was a prolific reader and enjoyed traveling to warmer climates.

She is survived by her husband Neil; two daughters, Dawn (Tim McEntee) Hiester and Amber (Rey) Gonzalez both of Fort Wayne, Indiana; two step-sons, Heath J. Kemarly and Jeremie (Kari) Kemarly both of Pioneer; one step-daughter, Julie (Sean) Dowland of Fayette; fourteen grandchildren; two sisters, Yvette (Randy) Runkle of Bluffton, Indiana, and Bernie (John) Kleinknight of Geneva, Indiana; and two brothers, Tom (Kim) Gentis of Bluffton, Indiana, and Tracy (Rhonda) Gentis of McNatt, Indiana.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation for Debbie will be on Friday April 8th from 2-8pm and Saturday from 10-11am at the Pioneer Church of the Nazarene in Pioneer.  Services will be on Saturday at 11am at the church with Pastor Gene McBride to officiate.  Interment will follow at Floral Grove Cemetery in Pioneer.  Memorial contributions may be given to Williams County Cancer Assistance. Online condolences can be left for the family at www.thethompsonfuneralhome.com.
