Frances Irene Schlosser, age 90, of Wauseon, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at Fulton Manor in Wauseon. Prior to her retirement she had worked at the former Wauseon Flashlight Factory and the Fulton County Health Center. She, along with her husband, Glenn, had also operated Enterprise Dry Cleaners in Wauseon.
Frances was born on August 19, 1925, the daughter of Encil and Alta (Willeman) Williams. In 1948 she married Glenn Carson Schlosser, and he preceded her in death in 1983. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Wauseon.
Surviving are two sons, Randall (Julianna) Schlosser of Columbus, OH, Garry Schlosser of Wauseon; one daughter, Mary Jane Frank of Westerville, OH; three grandsons, Thomas, Daniel and Zachary Schlosser; one great-grandson, Carson Schlosser; and one sister, Laura Jane Beck of Archbold.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and three brothers, Wayne, Robert and Rollin Williams.
Visitation for Frances will be held from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 AM. on Saturday, April 30, 2016, at the Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow immediately at 11:00 A.M., with Pastor Keith Oditt, officiating. Interment will follow in the Wauseon Union Cemetery.
