Larry B. Lewis, age 64, of Delta, with loving family by his side; passed away Monday night August 8, 2016 at the Orchards of Northcrest in Napoleon. He was born in Toledo on June 23, 1952 to the late Leland Lewis and Virginia (Barnes) Lewis. Larry graduated from Rogers High School in 1970. On July 17, 1993 he married Robin (Ireland) and she survives.
Larry worked in maintenance with the University of Toledo Medical Center for over 23 years. Larry attended Shiloh Christian Union Church in Delta. Some of his fondest hobbies included camping, gardening, collecting John Deere memorabilia, visiting car shows and was a proud owner of a classic 1973 Mustang Mach I Cobra Jet.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his daughter, Brianne Zuver; infant sister, Ermie Lewis and nephew, Phillip C. Davis.
Left to cherish his memories is his wife of 23 years, Robin Lewis; children, Jeff Lewis, James (Valerie) Norris and Joshua (Carrie) Norris; sisters, Diane (Bill) Pattie, LouAnn (Ezio) Legato, Joyce Lewis, Donna (Doug) Hacker and Debbi (Mike) Startzman; grandchildren, Kaiden and Cole Zuver, Devin, William, Grace, Isaac and Titus Norris and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Friday, August 12, 2016 at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St Hwy 109 in Delta. A funeral service honoring Larry’s life will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 13, 2016 also at the funeral home. Pastor Chuck Whitmire will be officiating. Interment will follow at Wauseon Union Cemetery.
