Monday, January 30 Scoring Summaries

BOYS VARSITY BOWLING

Wauseon 2328, Delta 2110

Nicolas Kearney put together back to back 224 games to lead the Indians to their 10th win of the season. Chance Buehrer broke the 200 barrier in his second game after a 167 in the first game. The Panthers (2-11) had the high game of the match when Brett Reeves rolled a 246. Reeves also carried the high series for Delta with a 404.

GIRLS VARSITY BASKETBALL

Cardinal Stritch 62, Edon 50


The Bombers (1-17) were close through two quarters but an 18-6 third period run by Stritch cost them their chance for the win. Shalyn Mason led Edon with 19 points.

Stryker 37, Wauseon 27

The Panthers were 10 points better than the visiting Indians in the non-conference match up. Stryker (15-2) got 14 of their points from the foul line to help their cause. The trio of Paige Speelman, Taylor Haines and Haley Doehrmann combined for 24 of the Stryker points as they finished with eight points apiece. Wauseon (1-16) were plagued by turnovers as they committed 22 during the contest. Rylee Campbell, Brianna Castellano and Aliza Dauterman led Wauseon with five points apiece.

GIRLS JUNIOR VARSITY BASKETBALL

Edon 45, Cardinal Stritch 25

The Bombers connected on 49% of their shots from the floor and ran away with the 20-point non-conference win. Two players finished in double figures in the win as Arianna Howard finished with 17 points and Alea Brandt added 10.

BOYS FRESHMAN BASKETBALL

North Central 35, Pettisville 33 (OT)


With the game deadlocked at 22-22, the two teams advanced to the overtime session that saw the Eagles finish with a 10-8 advantage giving them the hard fought win. The trio of Landon Patten, Alex Lehsten and Manny Cruz led North Central with eight points apiece. Mitchell Avina and Joel Flory were the top scorers for Pettisville with 13 and 10 points respectively.
