Jeanette L. Grime (1925 – 2017)

Jeanette L. Grime, age 91, of Delta, peacefully passed away with her family by her side on Monday afternoon, February 6, 2017 at Swanton Valley Care Center. She was born in Delta on July 13, 1925 to the late Shirley Falor and Nellie (Westbrook) Falor. On September 9, 1946 she married Lavern Grime and together shared 68 loving years together until his passing on February 16, 2015.

Jeanette was a homemaker and along with raising their children enjoyed crocheting, knitting, gardening and helping Lavern with his woodworking projects and crafts. She was a member of the Delta United Methodist Church and a longtime member of the Delta American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by her children, Judith (Kevin) Kutzli of Liberty Center, Paul (Brenda) Grime of Chesterfield, VA and Kenneth (Denise) Grime of Delta; grandchildren, Lewis (Susan) Miller, Melissa (Ron) Bowers, Paula (David) Spencer, Annie (Eric) Hernandez, Alice (Kurt) Rychener, Christopher Grime, Jason (Sheriden) Grime, 12 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Jeanette was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Falor.

Friends may call 4:00 – 8:00 PM on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy. 109 in Delta. A funeral service honoring her life will begin at 10:00 AM on Friday, February 10, 2017 also at the funeral home. Rev. Donald Krieger will be officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Delta.

Reynolds Rd, Toledo, Ohio 43615 or the Delta United Methodist Church, 101 Northwood dr., Delta, Ohio 43515 in her memory.
