Henry “Hank” Hagerman, age 78, of Delta, passed away surrounded by his loving family on April 1, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo.
He was born on November 26, 1938 in Fostoria, OH. On January 18, 1964 he married Nancy Peters and together, shared 53 years of happiness.
Along with his wife, Nancy, Hank is survived by his daughter, Kelly (Don) King of Holland; sons, Scott (Lynnette) Hagerman of Ontario, OH and Eric Hagerman of Westlake, OH; 6 grandchildren, Christine (Ryan) Krieger, Nicole King, Connor and Tyler Hagerman, Brooke and Garrett Hagerman and great grandchildren, Nova and Luna Krieger.
Hank and Nancy enjoyed many travels with their family. After retirement, they enjoyed the winters on Sanibel Island, FL. Hank was a longtime member of Local 50 as a pipefitter. He was a proud Veteran having served with both the U.S Navy and Army. Hank’s infectious laugh and sense of humor will be dearly missed. His strong belief of always saying “I Love You”; along with a hug and a kiss has already been passed down through the family and will continue forever.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted with Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy. 109 in Delta. A show of sympathy can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 800 South Detroit Ave., Toledo, Ohio 43609 in his memory.
