Sheryl Lea Snow, 65, of Pettisville, died Tuesday evening, April 11, 2017, at CHWC Bryan Hospital, following a sudden brief illness.

Born June 21, 1951, in Hicksville, OH, she was a daughter of Richard and Joyce (Burkhead) Apple. She married the love of her life, Larry D. Snow, on April 24, 1971, in Bryan, OH, in a ceremony led by Pastor Richard Keese.

Sheryl lived her early life in Hicksville, before her parents later settled in Alvordton, and Sheryl graduated from Millcreek-West Unity (Hilltop) High School, Class of 1969. While raising her family was Sheryl’s primary vocation, she also had part-time employment as a secretary for the former Mohawk Tool in Montpelier, and was a support specialist for Sunshine Homes in Wauseon for nearly seven years.

Sheryl is remembered for her love of shopping, and her hobbies of taking pictures and vegetable and flower gardening. She had talent as a painter, and painted on various craft medias including canvases, ceramics, and woodworking. She and Larry marketed their crafts at various craft shows and they also co-own their puppy business, Snow’s Poodles and Doodles. Sheryl’s proudest achievement in her life was her family, and she was a doting and loving mother and grandmother.

Surviving in addition to her husband of nearly 46 years, Larry, are her parents Richard and Joyce Apple of Alvordton; a son, Eric (Brooke) Snow of Defiance, OH; two daughters, Melissa (Dan) McKeever and Angie (Mark) Billups, all of Archbold, OH; three sisters, Cindy (Rob) Heller of Cincinnati, Connie (Kent) Landis of Pioneer, OH, and Sandy (Troy) Carpenter of Alvordton; a brother, Dave Apple of Montpelier; eleven beloved grandchildren, Zach, Grant, Marina, Logan, Morgan, Brennan, Ashton, Drake, Kendyl, Javin, and Jasi; a sister-in-law, Jan Seymour of Weidman, MI; and numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Ron Apple.

Memorial contributions in honor of Sheryl can be made to CHWC Bryan Hospital, Wauseon Fire Department, or a charity of the donor’s choice. Friends can share memories and words of comfort with the family online at www.eaglefuneralhomes.com
