WAUSEON – The Wauseon Lady Indians dropped a 4-1 decision to Anthony Wayne on September 30.
Mackenzie Eberly, playing first singles, fell to Abby Bukovinskzky 0-6, 2-6. In second singles, Vicky Kahrs was bested by Jordyn Cousino 0-6, 0-6. Autumn Dominque fell 1-6, 2-6 to Taylor Szmania in the third singles match.
Moving to doubles play were the duo of Ellie Hayati and Sally Frank. The Wauseon couple got the Indians only win on the day with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Mckenzie Krieg an Maddy Smith.
In second doubles, Ashlyn Boyers and Cherese Bussing were defeated by Meredith Ash and Madalyn Kistner 4-6, 1-6.
