On November 27, 2015 at 5:45 PM, before the Parade of Lights, there will be a “Lite the Nite” 5K Run & Jingle Walk in Archbold. Check in begins at 4:45 PM at the Archbold Middle School east entrance (Gym entrance).
Participate or watch and listen as lighted, glowing and blinking runners flood the streets. Walkers will sing Christmas carols throughout the parade route to raise funds for the Festival of Lights.
Locker rooms are available for use and the first 125 racers will receive a pair of LED lighted gloves, a glow necklace, and jingle bells. Awards will be given to the top 3 overall finishers.
Registration fee, payable at the Archbold Chamber Office, is $15 before November 20 and $20 after. All proceeds from the 5K and walk supports and maintains the annual Archbold Festival of Lights display in Ruihley Park. VIsit archboldchamber.com for more information.
