PETTISVILLE (April 30, 2026) — After scoring five first inning runs, Pettisville rang up 12 more in the second on just four hits to go on to beat Fayette, 18-0.

The Blackbirds (5-7, 2-5 BBC) got to Eagles’ starter Carter Lavinder right off the jump in the first.

Creighton Aeschliman doubled to start the inning. Following a one-out walk, Rylee Bevard doubled to center to chalk up the first two runs.

Jack Leppelmeier followed with a run-scoring double, a wild pitch plated a fourth tally, and the fifth came home when Sebastian Ryan beat out an infield hit.

An error, hit batter, two walks, and Quinn Ripke’s two-run double in the second ended Carter Lavinder’s day on the mound.

Reliever Cru Lavinder hit Ryan Bishop with a pitch, Lincoln Aeschliman singled home a pair of runs and two more came home on an infield boot.

Four walks, another hit batsman, and Lincoln Aeschliman’s second RBI single of the inning sent home six more runs to open a 17-0 gap.

Hayden Wagner pitched the next two innings for Fayette, giving up an unearned run in the fourth thanks to two Eagle errors.

Wagner’s base hit in the second, and Clark Oehlers’ single in the third were the only Eagles’ hits against Bishop.

Bishop walked two and struck out seven picking up the victory.
