EDON – North Central jumped out to a 10-1 lead after three innings, and the Eagles defeated Edon 16-1 in five innings in Buckeye Border Conference action.
Tyler Meyers led North Central (7-4, 4-1 BBC) at the plate with two doubles and a single and an RBI. Alex St. John drove in five runs with a single and a double, while Jackson Poynter had two singles.
Lane Brandt had a double for Edon (1-10, 1-3 BBC). Poynter was the winning pitcher with six strikeouts.
