PETTISVILLE – Pettisville managed just two hits but also took advantage of eight walks as the Blackbirds prevailed over Stryker 11-1 in five innings in Buckeye Border Conference action.
Sam Hastings and Rylee Bevard collected both base hits for the Blackbirds (4-6, 1-4 BBC) and combined for four RBIs.
Bradley Williams accounted for the lone base hit and run scored for Stryker (1-8, 1-3 BBC). Ryan Bishop was the winning pitcher, allowing just one hit with 10 strikeouts.
