EXTRA BASES … Hilltop’s Maggie Altman hits one of her two doubles on the day in a 19-0 win over Stryker.

WEST UNITY – Hilltop pounded out 15 base hits as the Cadets marched past Stryker, 19-0, in five innings in Buckeye Border Conference action.

Halle Jones went 4-for-4 at the plate for Hilltop (9-2, 2-0 BBC), slugging three doubles and a single, scoring four times and driving in a pair of runs.

Maggie Altman had two doubles and drove in three runs. Kenley Routt, Isabella Ackley and Carlee Schaffner all had two hits each. Sophia Crossgrove belted a home run.

Addalee Fulk singled for the lone base hit for Stryker (0-4, 0-2 BBC). Kelsy Connolly was the winning pitcher with eight strikeouts.
