Betty M. Wieland, age 85, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away on Monday morning, August 8, 2016, at Evergreen Manor Nursing Home in Montpelier. Betty was a dietician manager at Cameron Hospital in Angola for over 30 years. She was a member of the Bryan Eagle Aerie 2233.
Betty was born August 11, 1930 near Montpelier, the daughter of Leo J. and Verle (Cook) Goebel.
Betty is survived by her children, Terry (Lynda) Wieland, of Stryker and Melody Wieland, of Bryan; three grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren and her brother, Darrell (Jeanette) Goebel, of Stryker. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Norma Jean Andres.
A memorial service celebrating the life of Betty M. Wieland will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio with Pastor Dane Meuschke officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Betty will be laid to rest at Oakwood Cemetery in Stryker.
