The Blakeslee Village Council Meeting was held at the town hall in Blakeslee at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. The meeting was short and sweet, just briefly touching on a few subjects from the previous meeting.

Mayor Eric Jenkins told council about calling around for estimates regarding tree removal around the village. The clerk report was stated, with receipts of $2,339.08 and payments of $1,759.17.

The group discussed speeding through the town being an issue with there being a lot of kids in town, boats passing through, and people knowing that there isn’t a full-time officer in town will take advantage of that fact.

The meeting adjourned approximately 10 minutes after starting. The next council meeting will be Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at 6 p.m. at the village hall in Blakeslee.
