GRILLING FOR GOOD … Boy Scout Troop 63 of Archbold volunteered by grilling more than 200 hot dogs, serving their community with a smile!

Families, friends and neighbors gathered at the Archbold Community Garden on Sunday, May 31, 2026, for the third annual Blossom Bash.
The evening was dedicated to celebrating community, local organizations and the continued success of the garden.
Held from 5 to 7 p.m. at the garden on West Williams Street, the event featured free food, live music, activities for children and opportunities for residents to learn more about local groups and resources.
Visitors enjoyed a cookout while listening to live music from Jake Ellis. Children had plenty to keep them busy, including a bounce house, arts and crafts activities by the Black Swamp Arts Council and a chance to explore the garden grounds.
Outreach Coffee Co. was also on site serving drinks throughout the evening.
Several community organizations participated in the event as well. The Archbold Community Library shared details about its summer reading program, “Unearth a Story,” which features reading challenges, scavenger hunts, story walks, crafts and educational programs for all ages.
The Archbold Lions Club was recognized as a featured community partner as well, with many members volunteering to serve up the free meal.
With food, music, activities and community spirit filling the garden, the third Blossom Bash once again provided a welcoming space for residents of all ages to connect and celebrate the organizations that help make Archbold a vibrant place to live.
